We make complex UK regulations clear and actionable.
Hauzo builds specialist AI tools for UK regulations. We help people navigate complex regulatory requirements — tax, employment rights, and landlord compliance. Each tool is built for a specific area of law, using published official sources. We don't replace professional advice — our tools guide you to understanding, and tell you when to speak to a qualified professional.
UK regulations are detailed, constantly evolving, and often hard to parse. Sole traders need to understand Self Assessment. Employers need to know the latest employment law. Generic AI gives generic answers — not specific enough for real situations. Professional advice is expensive and not always practical for everyday questions. People are left confused, unsure whether they're doing things right, and uncertain who to turn to.
Hauzo exists to close that gap. We take specific areas of UK law and build specialist AI agents with deep, structured knowledge bases drawn from published official sources. You install the agent as a Claude Cowork plugin, and it helps you understand the rules before you act.
Every Hauzo agent is built on three principles:
We don't build one AI for everything. Each agent is a specialist in one specific area of UK law — Self Assessment, employment rights, tax filing, and so on. Specialist knowledge is more reliable, more detailed, and more trustworthy than generic answers.
Every step in every agent comes from published official guidance — HMRC, Acas, legislation, court decisions. You always see exactly where the information comes from. We don't interpret law ourselves. Our agents guide you through the official processes.
Hauzo agents are not legal advice, tax advice, or HR advice. They walk you through published processes and official guidance. When you need a qualified professional — an accountant, a lawyer, an employment advisor — the agent tells you clearly and specifically.
Hauzo was started by Fred Cornell, who built it with an AI executive team. Fred has worked in regulatory compliance and digital products for over a decade. He started Hauzo because he kept hearing the same problem: people understood the rules needed a clear, trustworthy guide that cited official sources and told them when professional help was needed.
UK regulations change. Employment law changed in April 2025. Tax rules update every year. Our knowledge bases are updated within 48 hours of regulatory changes. When major new guidance is published by HMRC, Acas, or Parliament, we update the relevant guide immediately. You can always trust that the information is current.
Each Hauzo agent is built using structured knowledge from official sources and delivered as a plugin for Claude Cowork. The agent walks you through your specific situation, checkpoint by checkpoint. It asks questions, helps you understand where you are in the process, tells you what documents you need, and explains your next steps. When you need professional help, the agent tells you what kind of professional to speak to and what information to have ready.
We're transparent about what we can and can't do. Our agents guide. They don't decide. They inform. They don't advise. They point you to professionals when you need them.
Tax Navigator and Employment Rights Navigator are the first two agents. We're building more. Maternity and paternity leave, pension planning, contractor rights, intellectual property — there are many areas of UK law where people need specialist guidance. We're adding agents systematically, building on the same principles: specialist, source-based, transparent.
We also welcome domain experts — lawyers, accountants, compliance officers, HR professionals — who want to build agents with us. If you're interested in creating an agent, learn more here.
